And when the testing was over it was clear – today’s busy women view Ghirardelli Squares as the little reward that will see them through their day. By creating spots that leverage that idea, we increased sales substantially.
Ghirardelli challenged us to create a concept around a new, wafer-shaped piece of chocolate meant for sharing. The shape and the intent lent themselves to a modern way of relating already in existence -- the emoticon. Thus, BYTES were born.
